01 Brand Identity

The Office of Arts Engagement & Cultural Resources oversees multiple arts programs - including An Appalachian Summer Festival, The Schaefer Center Presents, and APPlause! - each with its own personality. The goal was to create a cohesive umbrella identity that connected the department’s offerings while still allowing each program to feel distinct. I designed a set of custom logos for each program and developed a comprehensive brand guide defining consistent use of color, typography, and layout across touchpoints.

To support the team’s day-to-day marketing needs, I created a robust library of editable templates across print and digital. Deliverables included brochures, posters, social media graphics, digital ads, pitch decks, and additional collateral - built to be flexible, easy to use, and unmistakably on-brand. The result is a system that helps the department produce polished materials quickly and consistently, even across multiple programs and timelines.
